The Justice Family Story: Our Roots in Apple Farming and Llama Love
Hi, we are the Justices — Jason, Donna, Allie Rae, Brylee, Clay, and Dillon. We’re a llama-loving family who are lifelong natives of Hendersonville, NC. As sixth-generation apple farmers, we never imagined we’d one day be in the “llama business,” but here we are! We started our llama farm in 2017 and opened it up to the public in the summer of 2021.
Today, we have 31 llamas, 5 alpacas, and are excited to welcome crias in Spring 2025!

Our Story
From Fascination to Farm: Our Story
It all started when Allie Rae fell in love with llamas around the age of 10. Our neighbors at the time, Hank and Vicki Balch, raised hiking and show llamas, and when one of their llamas had a baby — a little one named JJ — Allie was instantly smitten.
Thanks to their kindness, JJ became Allie’s first llama. Hank was an incredible mentor, and today, Allie carries on his passion by sharing these amazing animals with the community. Over time, our entire family has fallen in love with llamas — and honestly, who could resist those sweet faces?
